Champagne/Sparkling
In 1668, Dom Pérignon is said to have discovered how to make sparkling wine; today his technique is used the world over, although Champagne continues to make some of the finest. France’s most northerly wine region, Champagne is now home to 15,000 growers and 290 ‘houses’. A blend of grape varieties is usually required: white Chardonnay to add fruit and elegance, and two reds – Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – to provide body and backbone.

This Chardonnay has a lovely vein of citrus running through the white peach, apple blossom and custard.

Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay blend. Very complex with almond, nuts, lemon, biscuit, melon, pear and apple. Bubbles are creamy and fine. High flavor intensity and finish. Outstanding for a NV Champagne.
CHARLES HEIDSIECK ROSE RESERVE
Light tangerine in color with fine bubbles. Creamy brioche, lemon, and red berries with some earthy notes. Strawberry cream finish. Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay blend.
PIPER HEIDSIECK CUVEE BRUT
Notes of almond and fresh hazelnut accompany the precise accent of its bubbles. It is lively, subtle and light leaving a delicious incisive sensation of smoothness marked by the pureness of fresh pear and apple and a delicate hint of citrus fruits.
PIPER HEIDSIECK ROSE SAUVAGE
In keeping with its colour, aromas of dark berry fruits pervade the senses. Imagine blackberry, blackcurrant and strawberry all scattered on a golden platter edged with mandarin orange and finished with exquisite traces of saffron.
CA' DEL BOSCO FRANCIACORTA CUVEE PRESTIGE ROSE
Pinot Nero and Chardonnay blend. Rich notes of toasted brioche and chopped hazelnut are layered with ripe and juicy flavors of mulberry, black raspberry, star anise and singed orange peel. Creamy and well-knit, with a lingering finish.
